அகத்தியர் சில குறிப்புகள்
- 1) அகத்தியர் சென்னைக்கு மிக அருகில் உள்ள பஞ்சேஷ்டி எனும் இடத்தில் ஐந்து மஹா யாகங்கள் செய்ததாகவும் பின்னர் பொதிகை வழியாக சென்று அனந்தசயனம் எனும் கேரளாவில் உள்ள அனந்த பத்மனாப ஸ்வாமி கோவிலில் சமாதியில் அமர்ந்ததாகவும் தெரிகிறது. மேலும் மஹாவிஷ்ணு அனந்த சயனத்தில் இருக்கும்போது பத்மநாபனின் வலது கை சிவலிங்கத்தைத் தழுவியதாக இருக்கும். ஆனால் சில படங்களில் பத்மனாபனின் கை அகத்தியரின் தலையில் வைத்து ஆசீர்வதிப்பதை போல் காணப்படுகிறது. இந்நிலையில் பார்க்கும் பொழுது திருவனந்தபுரம் அனந்த பத்மநாபஸ்வாமி திருக்கோவில் அகத்தியரின் சமாதி உள்ள இடம் என உறுதியாகக் கூறலாம்.
- 2) அகத்தியரால் இராமபிரானுக்கு வெற்றி கிடைக்கும் பொருட்டு அகத்தியரால் உபதேசிக்கப்பட்டதே "ஆதித்திய ஹிருதயம்" எனும் ஸ்லோகம் ஆகும். இதைப் பாராயணம் செய்த பிறகே இராமபிரான் இலங்கையை வென்றார் என்பது உண்மை. மேலும் இவ்விடத்தில் அகத்தியர் இராமபிரானுக்கு உபதேசித்தது சிவ கீதை எனும் நூலாகும்.
- 3) திருநெல்வேலி புராணத்தின் படி தமிழ் நாட்டை சுந்தரமூர்த்தி ஸ்வாமிகள் அகத்தியருக்கு கொடுக்க அகத்தியர் பாண்டியனுக்கு கொடுத்ததாக புராணம் கூறுகிறது.
- 4) அகத்தியருக்குத் தாமிரபரணி ஆறு சிவ மூர்த்தியால் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
- 5) திருவிளையாடல் புராணத்தின் படி தேவர்களை வருத்திய விருத்ராசுரன் இந்திரனது வஜ்ராயுதத்திற்கு பயந்து கடலில் ஒளிந்து கொள்ள தேவர்கள் அகத்தியரை வேண்ட அகத்தியர் சமுத்திர ஜலத்தை தன் கைகளால் ஏந்திக் குடிக்க சமுத்திரத்தில் இருந்த விருத்ராசுரன் வெளிப்பட அவனை இந்திரன் வென்றதாகவும் பின் மீண்டும் கடலை அகத்தியர் விடுவித்ததாகவும் மதுரை திருவிளையாடல் புராணம் கூறுகிறது.
- 6) அகத்தியர் பன்னிரண்டு வருடங்கள் நீரில் படுத்து தவம் இருந்ததாக கூறுகிறது உத்ர இராமயணம்
- 7) இராம மூர்த்திக்கு இலங்கையை வெல்லும் நிலையில் திவ்ய பாணங்களைக் கொடுத்து அப்பாணங்களின் வரலாற்றையும் கொடுத்தவர் அகத்தியராவார்.
- 8) சிவ அனுகிரகத்தால் சிவ பூஜை செய்வதற்காக கமண்டலத்தில் கங்கையைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு திரும்பி வருகையில் மாயாமபுரத்தின் அருகில் மலை உருவாக இருந்த க்ரௌஞ்சன் மாயையில் பட்டு அதனிடம் இருந்து எழுந்து அவனை மலை உருவாகவே இருக்க சாபம் அளித்து பின் குமாரக் கடவுளாகிய முருகனின் வேலால் பிளவுபட சாபவிமோசனம் செய்து காசி ஸ்தலத்தை அடைந்தவர் அகத்தியர்.
- 9) கந்த மூர்த்தியை எண்ணித் தவம் புரிந்து சகல கலைகளையும் பெற்றவர்.
- 10) சூரியனிடமிருந்து தமிழைக் கற்றவர் அகத்தியர்.
- 11) சுவேரனின் குமாரியாகிய காவிரியை மணந்தவர்.(இவளே உலோபமுத்ரா
எனக் காவிரி புராணம் கூறும். இவளை விதர்வ நாட்டு புத்திரி எனப் பாரதம் கூறும். - 12) அகத்தியர் வண்டு உருக் கொண்டு புஷ்பங்களில் இருந்து தேனை எடுத்து சிவ பூஜை செய்ததால் ஈங்கோய் மலை எனும் ஸ்தலம் உண்டாயிற்று ( திருசெங்கோட்டு புராணம் ).
- 13) விஷங்களுக்கு என்று அகத்தியரால் ரிக் வேதத்தில் ஒரு கீதம் செய்யப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது.
- 14) தூங்கி எயில் எழுந்து தொடித்தோல் செம்பியன் எனும் மன்னன் காலத்தில் அவன் ஆண்ட காவிரி பூம்பட்டிணத்தில் அகத்தியர் இந்திர விழாவை எடுத்திட்டார் என மணிமேகலை கூறுகிறது.
- 15) அகத்தியரின் மாணவர்கள் தொல்காப்பிய முனிவர் அதன் பொருட்டு ஆசான் தூராலிங்கன் செம்பூட்சேய், வையாபிகன், வாய்த்தியன், பணம்பாரன், கழாரம்பன், அவிநயன், காக்கைப் பாடினியன், நற்றத்தன், வாமனன்.
- 16) அகத்தியருக்கு கும்பமுனி, குருமுனி, கலசயோனி என பல நாமங்கள் உண்டு.
- 17) அகத்தியர் எனும் பெயருக்குப் பொருள் விந்திய மலையை அடக்கியவர் என்பதாகும்.
- 18) இவர் செய்த நூல்கள் அகத்தியம், வைத்திய நூல்கள் பெருந்திரட்டு ஆயுர்வேத பாஷ்யம், விதிநூல் மூவகை காண்டம், அகத்திய சிந்தாமணி, செந்தூரம் முந்நூறு மணி, நாலாயிரம், சிவ ஜாலம் சக்தி ஜாலம், சண்முக ஜாலம், வைத்தியக் கண்ணாடி, அகத்திய இரத்னாகாரம், வைத்தியம் ஆயிரத்து ஐநூறு, ஆயிரத்து அறனூறு கர்ம வியாபகம், தரிசில் புஷ்பம் இருநூறு தண்டகம், பட்சினி, நாடி, மேலும் அகத்திய சம்யிதை எனும் வைத்திய வகை நூல் இவரால் செய்யப்பட்டது.
அகத்திய தீர்த்தம்:
இது தென் கடற்கரையில் உள்ளது. இராமேஸ்வரத்தில் உள்ள தீர்த்தத்தில்
அர்ஜீனன் தீர்த்த யாத்திரையில் தங்கினார். இங்கு தங்கினால் மகா பாதகங்கள்
நீங்கும்.
அகத்திய நக்ஷத்திரம்: விண்ணில் தோன்றும் இந்த நக்ஷத்திரம் கடல் அலையை நிறுத்தும் சக்தி கொண்டது.
அகத்திய பக்த விலாசம்: சிவனடியார்களின் கதையை வட மொழியில் கூறும் நூல்
அகத்திய பர்வதம்: காலாஞ்சர பர்வதம் எனும் மலைக்கு அருகில் உள்ள மலை.
அகத்திய பர்வதம்: காலாஞ்சர பர்வதம் எனும் மலைக்கு அருகில் உள்ள மலை.
அகத்தியப்ரதா: அகத்தியருடன் பிறந்தவன் வயிற்றிலேயே ஞானம் அடைந்தவன்.
அகத்திய வடம்: இமய மலையில் உள்ள ஒரு தீர்த்தம்
அகத்திய ஆஸ்ரமம்: பஞ்சவடிக்கு சமீபத்தில் உள்ள புண்ணிய ஸ்தலம். இந்த இடத்திற்கு லோமஸேனனுடன் யுதிஷ்டன் சென்றான். இது நாசிக் எனும் இடத்தில் இருபத்தி நான்கு மைல் தொலைவில் உள்ளது. தற்போது அகத்திய புரி என்று வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

வடிவமான இறைவனை ஆத்மார்த்தமாக நேசிக்கும் அகத்திய பெருமானுக்கு
எழுப்பப்படும் இத்தகைய கற்றளி கலகாரப்பணிகள் துவங்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. அக்னி
தீர்த்தக்கரையில் வடபுறத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள இத்திருக்கோயில் பணிகள் சிறப்புற
அமைய விசேஷ திரவியங்கள் கொண்டு ஹோமங்கள் செய்யப்பட உள்ளது. எல்லாம் வல்ல
இறைவனின் திருவருளும் மகாகுரு அகத்திய பெருமானின் திருவருள் உடனிருந்து
எல்லா நலமும் பெருக வேண்டுகிறோம்.
